Hopefully this will become a comprehensive reference for all kite related activities. The intention is to cover the kind of questions most frequently asked by newcomers to kiting, and to include detailed description, guidelines, pictures to support each article.
It will attempt to help answer frequently asked questions such as Which kite? and What size kite to choose? There is also a section of How to guides to help you progress.
Ultimately it could evolve to describe every kite ever made (categorised by manufacturer) every branch of every sporting discipline, and every trick from stunt kite to kiteloops.
To begin with, contributors / editors will be a few enthusiastic, willing and hand picked SEKA members to help get the Wiki to a suitable point for launch. If you would like to be considered as a contributor, then contact Badger on the SEKA forum letting me know your email address.
Not a SEKA member? That is easily sorted. Providing that you have insurance just fill out the online form at Join SEKA for nothing and pop it in the post, and you will become a SEKA member within a few days :-)
All contibutions MUST be written by yourself and not cut and pasted from other sites. Similarly, all pictures and photos used within the articles must be your own, and free from any copyright restrictions.
