Bulverhythe Flyers Meeting Thread

Anyone who flys here - just subscribes to the thread and when anyone plans to go for a fly put up a post on this thread.
This way we will get notified by email if anyone is planning to go out. If you always start a new thread, everyone has to search the forum to see what's going on.

Exercise caution when arranging meetings in person. Anyone under the age of parental responsibility MUST obtain approval. Meetings arranged between members or non-members whether via these forums or other means are NOT SEKA endorsed events and SEKA cannot be held responsible for any incidents arising.

RESTRICTIONS

HSBKC Members (Hastings, St Leonaards and Bexhill Kite Club) only for anything that involves moving on a buggy, board or similar.
Non-members can static fly only
But, anyone can fly, buggy, board at SEKA fly-ins and events at the Site.

ok i'll start this one of with some advance notice. will be down the field about 10 on sunday showing 16 mph southerly atm. hopefully that will stay like that. anyone else up for it or is camber too tempting

Paul, What is happening on Sunday with respect to the footballers playing down there. They don't usually finish until about lunch time and if the pitches are all being used as they normally are then there won't be enough space for us to buggy. this is the problem we have at Princes Park now as well!
PS. How much have you spoken to the council about us flying down there and who did you speak to as last time I spoke to the council we only had use of the top corner to the right from the car park end and that was only if the model club wasn't flying or footballers playing. The footballers always seemed to have priority wherever they want to play. Do they have to pay a fee for playing there as we will for flying there?

the footballers generally only use the lower field. the nets are only up in that field. the model club don't fly in this field at the weekends (except the airshow) the whole arrangement has been sorted and brokered by alan the head honcho of the club. the councill are happy for us to have meets and fly ins as long as they don't interfere with any other events happening in/on the field.

gonna be out at the field on sunday morning about nine ish. wind looking good for 20mph about 9 dropping to 12 at 12. come along have a giggle and say hello.

need to get some photo's of peeps playing for the site webby, so come along and be immortalised (please)

ok this is a revised (but still temp map of flying area. the large area marked in red is our council approved play ground. it's roughly about 7-8 acres long by about 1.5 acres wide. the grey area in the bottom right corner is the car park or you can use the pebsham tip road on the left of the field.

ok i'll be out sunday from about 9.30 ish. flying from the tip road end. forecast for a 10 rising to 15 easterly, anyone else coming out to play.graham, do-be-do, toxic, john, penny, chris, chris or chris?. too many chris's in this club

think it's gonna have to be BMC, big chris and little chris (cypriano).
