| SEKA Insurance Requirements |
It is a requirement of SEKA membership that you are insured for at least £2 Million Public Liability. If this is allowed to lapse, your SEKA membership becomes invalid.
Many Home Contents policies include cover for this, but it is important that you check with your insurer that their cover does extend to kiting and the particular disciplines you intend to get involved in.
If you are not already covered, there are a number of specific policies available:
- British Power Kitesports Association (BPKA) - Power on land & water
- British Kite Surfing Association (BKSA) - Kitesurfing
- FISLY - Land Yachts
- SportsCover Direct - All forms of Kiting
- STACK - Sports Kites
Details can be found in the SEKA Links Database
If you need more help Please email us.
Notes
- On their website the BPKA state "we are unable to accept people who are insured via other policies, such as house, sports cover direct or other non PKSF organisations"
- Sportscover Direct also provide loss of earnings cover
- This is not a comprehensive list and other policies may be available. If you find one, please let us know and we will add it to this list
